Hey there! Have you ever wondered what it takes to grow your audience on Medium? Well, let me share my journey with you – from starting with zero followers to hitting 1k in just four months. It's been quite the ride, but I'm excited to break down my audience stats and share some insights along the way.
Getting Started
I joined Medium on September 12th, 2023, but it wasn't until October 10th that I published my first article. I was a bit nervous, but I took the plunge and shared my thoughts with the world. By the end of October, I had published six articles, diving into topics that I was passionate about.
Consistency is Key
In November, I kept the momentum going, publishing another six articles. December and January saw four articles each, as I continued to explore different ideas and refine my writing style. But it wasn't until February that I really kicked things into high gear.
Getting Serious
This February, I made a commitment to myself to take my Medium journey seriously. I started publishing on February 3rd, and since then, I've published a total of 25 articles, including this one. That's a grand total of 45 articles so far!
Seeing Results
Now, let's talk about the numbers. Over the past four months, my views stats have seen some ups and downs. In October, I started with 103 views and 65 reads, and the numbers fluctuated between 289 to 900 views and reads from 126 to 659 reads. But this February has been a game-changer.
Hitting Milestones
I'm thrilled to say that this February, I hit 1.2k views and 612 reads so far – and the month isn't even over yet! I'm aiming to reach at least 1.5k views and 700 reads before February comes to an end. It's incredible to see the progress I've made, especially with how serious I've become about my Medium journey this month.
Lessons Learned
Through this journey, I've learned that consistency truly is key. By committing to regular publishing and staying dedicated to my craft, I've been able to steadily grow my audience and reach new milestones. It hasn't always been easy, but the rewards have been more than worth it.
